My guess is that you will find boiling stripers in GHB in September. In the southern lake stripers are slurping up a huge chunk of the shad population in fairly clear water. So shad numbers will be less in the fall.
In the north, (GHB), water clarity makes it tough for stripers to see tiny shad so more will escape and adult shad numbers will be greater. If shad are present stripers will boil. Have a good trip for Anniversary number 25!
