May 4, 2018 - Gave Last Chance Another Chance

Went to Last Chance and here is what happened to us. We (2 guys in a bass boat) fished from 10:30am to 5:00pm and ended up with 23 fish total consisting of 8 crappie, 7 smallmouth, 2 walleye, and 6 stripers in one day. Almost caught the grand slam on bass, but could not get any of the 4 largemouth we had on to make it in the net. Both of us used 8 pound test clear flourocarbon line with 1/8 ounce jig heads and 3 inch single tail grubs. This combination has been productive for us to catch almost every fish species in the lake the past few weeks. Our primary colors used today were either chartruese or smoke with silver flakes. Walleye are showing up and we caught 2 on our jigs. Here are some photos.
