We ( daughter and I) fished from 8pm to midnight on the northeast side of Antelope Island along a point marked by red buoy #14. Our technique was to use a light to illuminate the water under the boat to try and attract fish to the boat. The night bite was very slow for us. We caught 1 walleye and 1 green sunfish in 4 hours of fishing time. We tried slow trolling (1.5 mph) and fishing stationary. The light pulled in some fry, but we did not have any swarms of shad circling the light. The sonar showed lots of larger fish from 5 to 20 feet deep. Nothing was biting. There was a full moon, but I don't think that influenced our results. We used chartruese grubs on 1/8 ounce jig heads with a night crawler attached to the hook. We returned to Stateline launch ramp around 1 AM. We thought about giving the green sunfish to UT DWR for their study, but since we only got 1 and it was not practical to do it at the late hour, the green sunfish was returned to the lake at Stateline ramp. The walleye was kept and filleted.

Fishing with the full moon casting its light over the water. Even though the fishing was slow for us, it was still great to be on the lake.
