Lightning Strike Map

I assume it is credible. If so, Powell experiences 2 to 8 lightning strikes per square kilometer (~5 to 20 per square mile) per year.

Yep, and even into September...... we get similar storms at Powell we got in Texas when I was a child.

I prefer the July monsoon storms - it makes the mushrooms grow sooner
