Launching Restrictions

Are you allowed to shore launch at points other than the approved marina monitored launch ramps? Last year launching at Hobie Cat was allowed. This year we were told it was not allowed. I ask due to the time and effort it takes to walk up and down the BF launch ramp. If launching at Hobie Cat is allowed, then all the walking can be eliminated.
There is still a sign at the top of Stanton Creek saying shore launching is not allowed. Sq

Every time I've camped at Stanton and if launching was possible, I seen people doing it. Whether there was a sign or not. Wish there was still launching possible at Farley's Canyon.
