Rich gonzalez here, so fishing was tough no boils all the way to rock creek,found a little surface action in warm creek near the hay stacks, caught a commotion directly south against the shore and it was on, giant balls of shad pressed up against the shore. So for the first half hour to 45 min. Of light everyday some of the best fishing of my life, wide open 3.5 lb. Smallmouth and beautiful 4 lb. Strippers in 2 ft.of water all on top water baits, it was so explosive it was heart wrenching.
