Large/smallmouth bass

Anyone having luck finding any large and/or smallmouth bass in the southern lake area? Specifically padre bay? Been trying the typical canyon slots in the bush, trees, and rocks throwing all kinds of things. Not seeing any boils over here for stripers so I’ve looked to find the green bass in the meantime. D
Any help is much appreciated!
 
Look for typical smallie broken rock shoreline. Early evening best, but never seriously fished early mornings that trip.
