After getting some work in on the houseboat we drove down to the ramp at Bullfrog.
The main ramp is not at all use able as shown. You can launch from the north ramp by the marina.
We may have to rename Bullfrog Bay to Bullfrog River till the runoff starts!
This has me really excited for my spring trip. We went down in 2014 when the water levels were low and got this great picture in Cathedral in the Desert. It was really exciting to see the actual cathedral. That year, there was still 2 or 3 feet of water on the floor and a sandbar ringed out away from the waterfall. It was really, really beautiful. Its possible this year the floor will be dry. We will head down in mid-April and hope to catch the water level at its lowest, just before run-off starts. I'm really looking forward to this. Low lake levels aren't all bad! Just new and different things to see!!
