Another casualty of low water. Citing safety and lake access issues, the organizers announced the cancellation. I have caught at least the last two regattas. We rafted up just down river from Rock Creek Bay to watch the boats fly by at 100+. Apparently they raise considerable money for charities while showing off their million dollar rigs. The announcement ended with advice for us all — pray for snow!
