Launched at the Bullfrog Executive Ramp. There were no issues and not a very long line. You can launch 2 boats at a time and the ramp/dock seemed to go out plenty far. No issues at all launching or retrieving
We were camping on the beach and had 2 boats with 2 families. We headed up to Moqui Canyon first, but any spot for beach camping was already taken with houseboats. We went up to Crystal Springs and found a great spot towards the end of the canyon.
We found striper boils just outside of the no wake zone when coming out of the halls area before the buoy field. They were there when going up lake and when coming back at the end of the trip. Fishing was good as always. Threw ned rigs or drop shots on rock piles which always works. Found some walleye in there as well as large and small month bass. There were crappie in the back of Crystal Springs throughout the day.
All of the fish were very skinny! I caught a decent walleye and it was skin and bones. Also a good sized large mouth, again skin and bones. Also all the stripers were that way. The smallmouth and crappie were the only things healthy.
