Fishing was slow on the 25th, it rained until noon. I checked out cedar smith fork and Knowles. Stripers were at 43 feet in the back of Knowles but. wouldn't bite. The 26th I headed to striper city. Stripers were in15 feet of water and were hitting on slab spoons and blade baits. A lot of them were hitting speed reeling on the way back to the boat. I noticed having snagged several carp that they were a lot bigger than in previous years has anyone else noticed this? maybe they are eating the mussles. Large mouth were caught in 25 feet of water on small maribou jigs. A storm came in on the 28th so I split.
