I get to say it… WILL BE THERE THIS WEEKEND!

Every year we put Easter weekend on the calendar. My wife and I both get an extra day off and we love escaping down there for early spring. Most of you know that.

Anyway, it’s always very weather dependent. I feel confident saying that the weather is going to hold enough for us to go down Friday- Monday. Looks like cooler Friday with the high at 62 degrees. But warming up throughout the weekend. Maybe some “W” Friday but should be good otherwise. If the W is too high when we get there, we will camp in the campground Friday night.

Seeing if anyone else will be around. Our plan is to camp in Hansen (if the nice sandy beach is open) or in forgotten (which is our normal area). Maybe even popping into Knowles if we need to. If those spots are all full well, I’ll be scrambling hahaha.

Head up to GHB Saturday or Sunday (maybe both).

Will be in a a black and red Skeeter and also will have my dark grey otter, ice fishing lodge as base camp.

Stop in if you see us! Always great to meat fellow wordlings while we’re down there. It looks like this will be our only trip of the year.

If you’ll be camped somewhere, let me know and I’ll try and swing by!

was there 26- 30 not a whisper of wind. never seen it like that. fishing was hard thru 29. on Sunday it was game on, the fish had been fasting for quite some time.hope the weather holds for your trip. tight lines and safe adventures.

Thank you. I’m expecting slow fishing Friday. But that’s okay,it’s mostly travel and camp day. Hopefully scratch enough out Saturday for fish tacos on the beach.
 
Good luck and enjoy! Any concerns with the north ramp? Lake level database shows it’s almost at unusable stage, is that data reliable? We were planning a trip April 24 but didn’t know whether to cancel.

Been discussed on many other threads. The executive branch is totally functional right now for anything other than a houseboat. I believe it will be functional until the water level gets down to around 3520…
