Great news this morning.

I-70 through Glenwood Canyon reopens early Monday morning, CDOT announces

After a two-week closure, Interstate 70 through Glenwood Canyon is open as of 6:30 a.m. Monday, officials announced.

Do not count on it to be open at all times. Already shut it down for several hours do to a flare up yesterday evening. Our area Garfield county has had only 1.4" inches of moisture since Jan. 1st and normal is 8.1. We are in a severe drought here. Peter

I drove it today , its bad put not as bad as i was thinking , there are a lot of burnt areas . Where it has torched all of the hillsides. But like near hanging lake and the tunnel it seem to be spared . trying to download some video.

It’s been way bad!
Way worse than all the outsiders looking in.
In the next couple days the Pine Gulch Fire 10 miles from my house will surpass the largest in Colorado history!!!

Dont get me wrong , I live in Silt . Its bad but I thought the worst. I have drive the Glenwood Canyon sometimes on a daily basis.I cant seem to download any video.
