I highlighted from 8 to 20 feet in green and less than 8’in red and that helped me to visualize what was going on around the shore.

Sorry I can’t answer the question re: the 798 HD CI si unit as I didn’t have waypoints in it as it was new/used to me this winter. I did also update my HB 859 and didn’t lose waypoints. Hope that answers your question. Sq

I downloaded the software update and it now allows for a 200-foot lake level adjustment. Pretty sweet! I did not lose any of my waypoints when restoring defaults for the update, extra nice!

I have the Navionics + that came with my Helix 7 it adjust automatically.
