How do you hike to Rainbow Bridge right now? Has anyone done it in the past year? The website says that dock parking is not operational right now and that you a beach your boat. Has anyone actually done it? How did it go?

Thanks!

We were in there a week ago today, water was about where the dock was last , lot of debris, wide flat bottom but it has come up at least 6ft, you can push through the debris and land on the beach.Tie up good, to whatever ,if you are going to leave your boat put at least one life jacket on shore so if the wind gets your boat you will have a much better chance of retrieving it.Did not make the hike but it's about the same as it has been the last couple of years.Fishing was fair in Forbidding, not many people up that way. Dock is about a 1/2 mi from the end, still in service.

We did it twice last year. stopped before the debris (We have jetski so we cant navigate around debris). Hike in the water and debris for 1/8 mile. Then you take the trail that is on the left side about 50ft above the bottom of the creek
this was about 1500 ft after bridge creek which is the narrow passage.
the arch is about 1 1/2 miles from there, so 30mn hike.
the Water level was 3525. So with the water about 20 ft higher this may save you 1/4 mile

We did it at 3540 last summer, essentially where the water is today. It was a bit of a hike, just under a mile one direction I imagine. You land on a soft sand beach. The water is rising fast so you will only be getting closer to the bridge as the days and weeks go in.

This where we landed.
