Dale was lucky. Now when I was seven a neighbor commented to my mother, "That boy has a terrible case of acne which is extremely odd for a seven year old."
My mother responded, "Oh, that's not acne. We're trying to teach him to eat with a fork." :eek:

Dale you are the luckiest kid ever, driving a tractor at 7 etc,etc,etc, You are right, childrens deaths happen from negligence and I wouldn't go to far, because the pain and guilt associated with an accidental death is something that is not easy to describe so don't try.

I hope I never have to deal with that, but my point is, if you have not made your kids self sufficient you are responsible for what happens.
I was lucky to have been raised by parents who were born in the 1920's, and grew up during Roosevelt's Great depression.
