How are your local lakes looking ?

Don't know about you guys, but I just put away the boat for the season.
Not a boat ramp open within a hundred miles.
Been a heck of a year with the rivers closed down this summer. Water too warm.
Fishing was really good from the boat this Spring, but the lakes dropped faster than a lead balloon !!!
Living in Glenwood Spring, I fish Ruedi, Rifle and Harvey Gap.
Here are some pictures to show how depleted they are.

And the next couple of days remnants of hurricane Polo are going to add to the Four Corners rain totals. No fronts coming down from NW to start laying down snow, but when it gets going there will be some moisture in the ground.

It is time to start going to Powell again for me ! I only go mid October through mid May anymore and it is perfect ! Navajo, McPhee and Night horse are still launchable here in Durango. Vallecito is not I heard.

The average SWE for the Lake Powell watershed is at 391% of normal for this time of year with two areas over 2000% and one over 12,000%. We're talking about tiny amounts of snow"pack" here so it's nothing to get excited about but it is a good harbinger for a potentially epic snow season.

Darn! Storm system drifted farther and faster west into NM and TX. Well, at least “upper basin” NM got some water.

Ramps are closed.
Rio Grande ran dry for 112 miles.

I fish Ruedi, Harvey, and Rifle too. I live in the RFV. I'm worried about the lakes being open at all next year.

We went to Pueblo Reservoir (Colorado) on Sunday and had a great time running the gas out of our boat. The lake level is down but not as low as I've seen it in the past. A group of sail boats were having an impromptu race by the dam. Very cool to watch.

AZ lakes are fine. Canyon is being drawn down for dam maintenance.
