Houseboat Camping Locations.

Hello everyone. Will be heading to lake Powell June 9th and taking a 75 ft houseboat from wahweap. What areas would be best for beaching the boat at night and also have good accessible fishing conditions from kayak. Thanks any info is appreciated

The mouth of Dungeon Canyon would work (about 5 miles south Dangling Rope), but for a big boat like that it's going to be slim pickings beyond that until you get up to Oak Bay, which is about 10 miles north of Dangling Rope. You'll need a beach at least roughly 200 feet wide for your anchor lines (twice the length of your boat plus the width plus safety factor), and there just aren't that many suitable options in that part of the lake.

If you are planning on moving every day and making your way up lake you could start in padre bay then to last chance after that rock creek then if you want to get a little further up lake closer to dangling rope go to dungeon or whetherill.

Those locations all have good fishing and beaching locations for the 75ft houseboat?

Es we have a 75 footer and have stayed in all off them. The most options will be in last chance and rock creek. Whetherill will probably have the least options at this water level
