Just for fun, I thought I'd post some historic GoogleEarth imagery of how the Hite area has evolved since 1993... In the first image from 1993, you can see the marina was fully operational at a lake level of 3663. It's interesting to compare it to the other images to see where the marina used to be as the lake fluctuates up and down. Also interesting to see the 2011 image, when the lake level was not that different than in 1993, and where the marina would have been if it still existed.Hite Marina 1993-6-22 3663.jpgHite Marina 2004-8-2 3579.jpgHite Marina 2006-7-12 3609.jpgHite Marina 2011-9-14 3654.jpgHite Marina 2013-6-25 3601.jpgHite Marina 2016-3-17 3593.jpg

Very cool. Is that North Wash in the upper left corner of the images where the water is lower?
Yep, that's North Wash, and you can see the main outlet to the river... these day's it's almost better to call it "North Lake"... Here's a wider shot of the Hite area from the March 2016 image, and you can really see the isolation of North Wash caused by the silt build-up along the edge of the river...

Have you got a wider shot or two to the South that shows Farleys and White canyons in 2016? Would be interesting to piece these together.
Thanks.
Sure thing... here's the wider shot, showing everything north of Twomile Canyon... easy to see from this how silt deposition downstream into the lake can cut off White and Farley canyons... This is why that even as lake levels rise, the silt deposits at the mouths of those canyons will hinder access to them...
