Stay tough Ed !!! I crashed up on the bumps up on the mountain and landed on my shoulder. Ouch !!!
Rotator tear. Get cut on Tuesday. We're keeping the Orthopedics busy. I can still strum a guitar, but casting will be a challege.
Glad I caught this burly Brown before my wreck !

I will be having right hip replacement surgery Monday. This hip has been bothering me for a number of years but got horribly painful two years ago requiring me to use a cane full time. I've had great difficulty the past two seasons getting around in the boat, and it has affected my fishing significantly. It has really affected my balance in the boat as I fell in the boat several times last year. The good news is I should be well recovered before fishing season! I look forward to fishing pain free in 2022! :)

Best wishes Ed

Best of luck Ed! As an anesthesiologist, I’ve taken many patients to the OR that have hips so worn out they can barely shuffle down the hall. After some expert “carpentry work”, I see them the next morning walking down the hallway with a smile on their face and they always comment - “if I knew I was going to feel this good afterwards, I would have done this years ago!” I predict you’re soon going to be moving about the boat in better condition than you have in years. Thoughts and prayers your way tomorrow.

Good luck ED on your surgery. Had my knee done eight years ago and everyone's right, don't cheat yourself on the rehab. It makes all the difference on the success of a joint surgery. I know you worked hard to get the point that the Docs would do the surgery, so keep up the good work.

By the way, if you fell in your last boat, you didn't leave any marks or dents in it. I've not been out in it a lot since I picked it up from you, but I am really enjoying it. Thanks so much. Hope your new boat comes in just in time for you to get out on the lake with you as the new improved version. Good Luck!!!
