That is unfortunate that occured. I know that some of the teams barely speak any english. Not that they were the ones that did that. I do see many of people that routinely ignore the no wake areas. This happens too often when there is no tournament. I would guess those 2 boats were running late for the start. I will however pass it on to my neighbor as he is the current president of the NSFA.Jessica I hope you had a great and successful tournament. I like to see tournaments held. I do have one disappointing encounter with a couple of your competing boats in the dam no wake zone on Saturday morning. Two of your competing boats, one a white runabout and the other a small maroon and black basstracker. We're where less than halfway through the no wake zone when then handily passed us with full wakes. I stood up and yelled no wake, they ignored and hit full throttle the rest rest of the way through the zone. There was a large pontoon hauler with a full load of kayaker stacked high. When I hailed on channel 16 about the competitors blasting through the no wake zone, the pontoon skipper said the blasted past him within five feet of his vessel. He took videos. When I git to the cleaning station I stopped and told the director of the tournament about. She was very concerned as she wanted to be able to come back and hold more tournaments here.she said she would bring it up in the weigh in meetings. I truly hope she did. They asked if I had pictures of the boats, I told them I was too busy hanging on.

Congratulations on an excellent finish and thank you for taking out so many carp!Hi Everyone! Thanks for all the comments and cheeringWe had a BLAST at Lake Powell, and we definitely have it on our list of have to do again trips!
My SIL and I did well and really enjoyed being in the water even though it came up fast and murky! It was unbelievable how each day it felt like we were diving in a different lake. Out scouting day the water was clear but by the last day, the water was so murky we couldn't see past the end of our spearguns - kinda freaky! The largest Carp I shot was 12 lbs, and my daughter was SO PROUD to hold it. It made my momma-spearo heart happy. On carp day they had a dump trailer full of fish. They said there was about 4,000 lbs of carp! Here are just a few pictures from all the fun we had.
