Halls Crossing Bass

I am a new member and have signed up at the urging of my fishing buddy so I can post pictures of fish that he and I caught on May 18th of this year. We were fishing in Halls Creek Bay in the late afternoon and were using green and pumpkin colored senkos and tubes. We had caught 12 or more nice size bass (catch, take pictures, and release). It was getting late and we were slowly heading out from the back of the cove, casting to shore as we went out. I had been adding a very small rubber worm to the tube which seemed to be effective for the last few fish, and I cast it once again into a small cove. The line twitched immediately then took off. When I set the hook I knew it was a sizable fish. It pulled like a freight train stripping line from the reel. Fortunately the line did not break and the hook held. When we finally got it in the boat, we were both in disbelief as it is the biggest bass I have ever caught. Regretfully, I had left my tackle box on the houseboat so we had no scales or tape measure, so we took a picture and released it. It was a great trip and amazing fishing. Done for this year, but I can’t wait to see what next year brings.
