Spent the week at Halls with a large group of friends (10 - 15 varying from day to day). Fishing was pretty slow for stripers in Halls, with the exception of Wednesday afternoon when we got in on a small slurp at the end of the bay - our boat picked up 9 in about 45 minutes. Different boats in the group had varying levels of success with walleye and SMB throughout the week, but nothing overwhelming.
On Friday, we decided to try the back end of Bullfrog. At about noon, we found a school that was fairly spread out over about and acre. 3 boats landed about 75 stripers and 6 walleye in 2 - 3 hours using mostly jigs and crawlers.
Great week to be on the lake. Weather was perfect, and time spent with great friends in such a beautiful setting was incomparable this side of heaven.
