Damn! Pretty close!
There are several humps and flat benches adjacent to deeper water around that area that can hold striper. ( Water level depending). Kevin's island might be an island by now. Lakemaster is awesome for scouting.
"Good Hope Rock"? This feature is called Castle Butte. What kind of map is Google using? It's no wonder people can't find named features as they are using the wrong names.
AI = almost intelligent
Thank you for the update and great pictures!Andrew and I just got back from taking our boys from Saturday through this morning. The weather window was great but it was coming off that recent front. There was probably 15-20 trucks in the lot Saturday when we launched. Small boat had no issues launching. Glass on the way up, and the park removed a couple of nasty mussel covered buoys which was good to see.
Found a great spot on the east side of the lower bay and then fished that Saturday night around camp. We did not get a bite! We were bass fishing but we’re trying to cover a few different depths as we did three weeks ago. Calm peaceful night a big fire.
Saturday we went right to the junction of Blue notch and the main channel out in front of where our two high a en fry humps (islands) are. We started angling and fishing up lake with no bites, we kept seeing a few fish but couldn’t get them to hit. We then moved and fish a few more spots before deciding to troll. We started trolling near where we finished off at the Blue Notch junction, we headed towards the inside of Blue notch this time and started picking some Stripers up. We were trolling the bigger sized walleye divers by cotton Cordell. Depth was anywhere from 10-20 feet in this area, and our lures would bump the shallow areas and we’d usually get a strike.
We caught enough in this area we decided to start fan casting our swim baits and stared picking up some up a bit faster. This had to be the same area where the last report was from. Most if not all these fish were 14-16inch male Stripers and were in good shape.
We followed this same pattern the rest of the time, we would go and try a few different areas casting for Bass with minimum success and then go catch a handful of Stripers in that spot. Water temp was hovering around 52/53, but it was calm and warm enough I thought some would be up higher but they just weren’t in that area of the lake.
Last night we cut up some Striper and catfished from our camp and caught a few.
Coyotes were loud all nights and and both sides of the lake, it was calm and warm during the days, nice and cool at night. The weather was great.
Water was chalky (1-2 foot) halfway up GHB, green on the lower half and the first bend below the bathroom.
Saw a couple cars down by the water in red which was good to see. Water is still off at the floating bathroom, they have a five gallon NAPA bucket with a rope you can use… we left a top half a aluminum kayak oar we found so you can stuff your crap down the toilet dump.
Can’t wait to get back down, with the warming trends it won’t be long till the bass turn on. I’d say we ended with about 80 fish, cannot complain!

I hope. Going April 1st 2nd 3rd...Maybe in two more weeks the water will hit upper 50s
That's how you know you're legitI think the problem you are running into (the way I read your question) is that the site ends up using some local colloquialism that isn't on any of the published maps. I don't think you will find popcorn or Dungee Island, Executive Ramp, or others on the links @BartsPlace linked.
If that is what you are looking for you are probably best off doing a site or google search of the specific term. ChatGPT may be better.
If I misread your question and just want to know where Good Hope Bay (GHB) starts, the links Bart supplied will work. My favorite is the Lake Genius app.
As an aside, I find it incredible what ChatGPT can come up with. Only miss is the reference to its relationship to Bullfrog Marina I think.View attachment 35126View attachment 35127View attachment 35128
