Fryer oil ?

Anybody have any "tricks" to keeping oil and frying pot clean on a week long trip on Lake powel. Camping out of an open boat.

I don't because I live here and cook at home, but someone will help. I want to welcome you to WW and hope it helps you catch some warmwater fish after pursuing trout in the Tetons.

Having trouble finding a fry "pot" with a lid that is leak proof. Last time at powell I would strain the oil back into a jug but that seemed like too many steps.

Most of the sporting goods places have battery operated pumps for transfering oil back into the jug. Yes it is just another thing to carry, but they work pretty well and make the job easy. Sq

We used crisco camping growing up. It hardens back for easy transportation.

use coconut oil wipe the pot out throw the used oil away its biodegradable and frys fish great
