Awesome, good job Grandpa. I wouldn't trust my boys with "the whacker" when they were that age, lol... I forgot what my boys were like at that age(12yo and 14yo now), thanks for triggering the memories...

Nice video. You are an awesome Grandpa. I was impressed watching your grandson reel in those fish. He knew what he was doing!
 
The first fish he caught on the video I was just rooting for him to hold on to the pole. I thought there was going to be yet another fishing pole for Davey Jones but he did awesome. That will be something he (and Grandpa) will remember for the rest of their lives. Great Video.

Thanks to all for your nice comments. This really was an amazing outing with my grandson.

just a qiuck note. the original video for some reason did not upload as HD. I replaced the link with the HD version. He was so sad friday when he found out I went to The Lake without him. By the way stripers are still boiling....

Laughed till I cried!!! What great memories this brought!!! Wept like a baby!! Siting here bored a week after knee replacement - day dreaming of getting back down- now digging out my old vids/pics of my Gson & GGson at the lake - they are 13 and 10 now - could be 3 clones at that age!!! What a keeper - many more to come - lovethelake1!
