After reading Stones experience at night fishing, we decided to see if we could find some stripers in that area.we did find a few, tried with spoons with no luck.
Decided to go to Last Chance areafor small mouth. Caught several nice small mouth, and called it a day.
Went back out on the 28th and tried the same area that Stone mentioned and used anchovies this time and caught 3 nice fat stripers. We headed over to Lone Rock to check it out. We found a large amount resting on the bottom at 38'. We tossed in the line with an anchovie and started catching. We caught about 10 in 15 minutes and then they were gone. Spent about a hour trying to find them again with no luck. It's beautiful time of year to be on the lake. Attached is the fish frenzy we experienced.
