You bet. The race is on between 60 degree water and GHB being blown out. Hopefully there is some middle ground for a week or so. It was -8 in Lyman, WY this morning. Really tough to judge the run-off this year. There's an incredible (and I think unaccounted for) amount of snow below 7000' in the upper Green right now, and its staying cold, calling for high 40's low 50's next week.

Coho
I promise if you will pull up the Cha bay in the San Juan, I wont bother you again until next year, and I will give you all of these down rigger weights and clips. My son lives in Mountain view and I will give them to him to take home, and you can pick them up, when possible:)
At least a $100 view 🤣

Does anyone know if there are any houseboat campsites in Knowles at this water level? We'd like to fish in the stained water in GHB, or wherever the mudline is, but camp in clearer water. I've camped in Knowles before, but there was probably 100+ feet more water when I did that.
We were there last year when the water was around this level. There was a camp area that will fit a houseboat…I know this because there was one in it the whole time we were there…

Fishing is very slow, just a few bites, trolled Lone Rock and Wahweap no success, we were graphing fish around 20-30 feet but they were not interested in our lures or bait (we chumed bags of anchovies with no success). Tried the usual spring fishing areas (dam, buoy 3, Antelope Canyon etc..) no success. Did not go to Navajo or Warm Creek as we talk to a few anglers that came from the that area and had no success either. With the water temp at 48 degrees, a full moon and the recent storms, I am sure that those factors had a lot to do with the fish not wanting to cooperate. I have been coming to Powell every Spring for the last few decades and this is the first time I have been skunked. Sad, now, we are heading back to Reno without fish in the cooler. We will wait until May and try it again. But of course, we still had a great time being out and about with one of mans greatest creations, Lake Powell!!!
Thank you for the report! Head down tomorrow for a week of fishing with my 95 year ago pop!
Wish us some catching lol

The East wall at MM 25 has always produced fish. Steve & Gena ( Stickbow Shooter) turned us on to their spot there to harvest stripers for the South Rally in “11” or “13”, don’t quite remember. I had the honor of being guided that trip by TR. Sq
