1. Slurps can be very subtle and not even noticeable to those that are not looking for fish. It is just a tiny disturbance on the water that can be seen for a half mile when looking hard or never seen by boaters.


2. When closer the fish are easy to see and they sometimes stay up and finally just swim under your boat.


3. When at the fish cleaning station I always look at stomachs to learn more about each fish. The slurpers were all full of tiny shad. The little black spots are fish eyeballs. The count per fish stomach was near 50 shad.
