We fished at the dam this week a few days. You could just about catch as many as you wanted, but not one was fit to eat. Looks like it will be a big die off as I don't think any we caught would have had a chance to survive until there are more shad. Pretty sad to see fish that should have weighed 4 or 5 lbs at about 1.5 to 2 lbs.
