First time out this fall

Weather is heavenly and should be for another week or so. Water temp cooling but still not too cold to dip a foot in the water (obviously unscientific observation for lack of sonar/fishin tech)

It looks absolutely gorgeous on the webcams. This should be one of the best times to visit Lake Powell for the scenery, hiking, and exploring. I never understand why people want to fight the crowds in the summer. (On the other hand, there is that capsized houseboat at Hole in the Rock...)
