To clarify further on the umbrella's..........I hauled them 80 miles uplake, and they took a total of 2 minutes to setup in the sand. Strictly for ambiance while in the shade, but effective in the sun.....and a heckuva lot easier than EZ ups!
That's back in Davis Gulch right? LaGorce Arch is right there around the bend. I've seen that camp every time I'm in there and super jealous of that spot. Seems like it's only accessible at about 3600-3620 right?
Yep. It had been vacant for less than an hour when I swooped it up for that week. It's one of many "go to" spots I check in the Escalante before I settle on the average "amazing" spot in the big E. It is by far my favorite part of Powell......I usually only get up there once a year though, it's quite the commitment to get there
