Hate to be the guy asking "where is that" but can you share where the first pic is? Is that Last Chance? Or am I way off?
Bill says he never tires of the Natural Wonders & pristine beauty at our Lake.....Our secret is getting out..... Halle Berry made a recent visit . Nonetheless, this pic will be hard to top.

Thank you. I found it on the map and it's basically opposite San Juan. I've never been further south than Escalante as we travel out of Bullfrog daily. This year we'll be camping in Escalante so the trip from there is WAY manageable. Enough water in there right now I wonder?Reflection Canyon…. Also shown on some older maps as Cottonwood Gulch…..

Times change. Sources of information change. Places change. Names change, too. Cathedral in the Desert was named by a Panguitch rancher’s wife in the 1920s, long before there was much thought given to Glen Canyon as a place to visit, and four decades before there was a Lake Powell. Many of the names of now iconic canyons were named by river runners in the 1940s and 50s, people who knew Glen Canyon before the dam. Some of those names have changed since then.
Like Reflection Canyon. That was not the original name of the canyon, nor is it really the correct name, even now. But how its name...
