Outside of Iceberg.

And a video from last year up in the San Juan to prove that they are not all happy endings.

That faceplant... how’d that feel? I’ve hit water face-first at 39 mph and it almost tore my ear clean off. It burst my eardrum and tore the cartridge inside so bad my earlobe hangs 1/2 inch lower on that side.

That one actually cracked his ribs. Worst part, it was on the first day of the trip so no more fun activities (and hardly even any boat riding) for the remainder of the trip.

Moral of the story is that we decided no more “front” attempts until the end of the trip.

Darn that’s tough. Ribs are second worst thing to break. I once broke my pelvis and spine, those were the worst

Ryan, what speed were you pulling him at?

17 is pretty slow. I think even 20 is on the slow side if you are trying to progress.

We tried 26 once. You can get huge air there. And even bigger crashes.

I will definitely move up the speed when we try it again this summer. Thanks for the advice. We have one of the early air chairs, and we mostly so wake crossings and up and downs in the water. No flying and flips are on our menu.
