Does anyone know how the fishing is on the Escalante? We have always fished bullfrog North, but have not headed south. Has the spill affect the fishing? First time heading south, so any help would be appreciated.

The Escalante has excellent fishing for all species, and is in my opinion, the most beautiful part of the entire lake.
I am assuming you are referring to the Animas River spill from a couple years ago? It has not affected fishing, even in the San Juan, which was where the affected waters came into Lake Powell.
