We found a camp site in the 5th western bay out from the back of Last Chance, and fished for 2 days.
In total we caught 50+ small-mouth, 4 stripers, 3 large-mouth, 2 Walleye (the first we've ever caught!), and a couple blue-gill!
The fish tacos were excellent, the camping was an epic experience including some 30-40mph gusts at 2am that threatened to launch our Springbar into the air... with us in it!
Overall, an awesome weekend with family!
Stripers (18”-20") caught trolling with a Bomber Deep Fat Free Shad Cranker - Eaten for dinner
Small mouth (8”-14") caught fishing rocky points using various jigs, hula grubs, senkos, spoons - Released
Large mouth caught using small chartreuse jig and a Sammy surface lure
from shoreline - Released
Walleye caught trolling with Bomber Deep Fat Free Shad Cranker (same one as the Striper) - Tacos... mmmm
Blue gill caught from shoreline using fly-fishing flies - Sacrificed in the name of science (stomach had what looked like small worms in them)
