Dream come true, Powell next weekend hopefully!

I am currently at the Flaming Gorge and they are writing the surf boats that violate the 150 ft law. I stopped and talked to the ranger for a bit and he said this weekend and next they are doing a big boater safety push. He also stated that up here they have already written over twenty surf boats this weekend for getting too close to other boats. Their next biggest tickets were for expired fire extinguishers and lack of life vest. He said that they were doing the same push at Powell, so check your life vest and fire extinguisher expiration date.

Ten days ago I was on the lower lake. I'll bet there were 10-15 wake boats with so many people in them there was NO WAY they had the necessary life vests. Young kids without them on a moving boat also. Chuck

I can’t wait for the day that every other day is ‘No Towables’.
At least then we can all pick our poison instead of having it rammed down our throats.
