I just recieved a facebook update from Lake Powell that said due to high wind damage Dangling Rope will be closed till further notice. Any body there get in a bad storm yesterday?

I just confirmed your notice on the NPS website per below. I am on the lake an did not notice any particularly strong wind storms yesterday - I wasn't near DR, but I didn't see any storm clouds anywhere, and my wind meter read a steady 17 with a high gust of 31 yesterday - windy but not horrible. It must have been much worse up-lake. NPS/Aramark hopes to have DR back open as soon as 9/10 but possibly as late as this coming weekend.
