Look at the helms master for your Yamaha. They have it set up for single engines now and you could troll at an oblique to further reduce your speed. I also use drift socks if I am using my main engine. I used to use doubles, but have move onto a single attached to a loop of rope and just slip it centered over the bow. Then just unhook the loop when I done.
