Not necessarily, but a lot of my trips with him, we would take advantage of good weather windows, and use his Houseboat in the buoy field as a floating hotel. Having the whole Southend to yourself is sure a treat

A couple of very old rusted out cans of Banquet One Whole Chicken without giblets…about the size of a large Dole Pineapple Juice (example)

Nope, that’s an image from an internet search. The best of the two cans we found, both of which were very much corroded, had just enough of the front still intact to enable identification.

We’re thinking they have been under the lake since the 70’s. Found in the Escalante partially buried on the big sand beach near Clear Creek. Looked like a trash burial site, lots of old cans and also vintage glass bottles for things like Crisco oil and mayo.
