Choal/Pinion Falls

Anyone know how long a hike pinion falls is at the current lake level? Thinking about doing it later in the summer.

I tried to go last October - never made it - it was kinda a spur of the moment decision and I didn't have my rubber 2 man blow up dinghy with me. We got as close to the end of the water as we could then tried to swim/wade though the debris field - it was a muddy awful mess and we gave up.

I'd guess with this years high water you'd be about 3-4 mikes one way?
