Camping San Juan arm

We used to love to ski and wakeboard in the Great Bend area. Over the course of the years, trash and debris has chased us out. On any given day we found tires, basket and soccer balls, and good size building lumber floating in there. My favorite was a tire on a rim with a growing potted plant inside the rim. The plant seemed to be doing very well.
 
We love the SJ in Sept. We typically don't go much beyond the start of the Great Bend. We'll run up to Spencer's camp or as far as we can go, but find that LMB & SMB fishing doesn't improve much beyond the first mile or so. We haven't really seen much debris or trash in the fall
