We camped 2 days at Stanton Creek, then boated to just outside of Escalante for the next 5 days. Caught a grand slam with smallies being the most numerous fish caught. We fished mostly from camp at both locations but stopped and threw the same senkos that we used for smallies to slurping stripers with good success when we saw a decent sized school. I did sneak the boys out for a 2 hour fishing trip on the morning of the 5th. My 10 year old caught 28 smallies, my 14 year old caught 41, and I caught 51. I’ve had lots of 100+ fish days, but I don’t remember ever getting 120 in 2 hours. Fishing is crazy right now.

Great report. Your kids will remember that 120 fish day forever. They may want to come to the lake again sometime ;)

Where were the most striper slurps congregated?

Yes, when we found one there were usually more within a couple hundred yards.
