Bullfrog Striper and Bass Fishing Trip Planned for Oct 10-14

Hey All,

I was hoping to find out the latest tips, tricks and techniques for fishing Bullfrog. We always have success this time of year with finding the boils and fishing with top water lures (Super Spooks) but was wondering with how cool this October has been so far if we need to plan on something a little different to have a great trip. Has anyone been down to Bullfrog recently? and if so, what were you have success on? Were you seeing many boils? What were you catching fish on and at what depths or structures? Any advice you can give is MUCH appreciated! Thank you in advance.
 
Tagging on for same info since we may go down for the 12th and 13th. Still Watching the weather. We were there the 27th and 28th, did not do well in Bullfrog, water temps were high and quite a few pleasure boaters. Hoping the cooler weather lowered the water temps improve the overall outlook.
 
Our experience has been that the fishing keeps getting better until early November. I don't think this early cold spell will slow the fishing down at all. in fact, it might just make it better than your past experiences fishing early October.
