I agree with Dworwood... while you might find something there, that mark is not quite where Register Rock really is... it's a little farther to the north and west of the red mark... but the easiest way to know you're there is that you're walking between the two parallel upright stone monoliths, pretty obvious landmark when you're actually there... and at the current lake level, some signatures should be faintly visible...
