Bullfrog Marina on the move

I obtained an update from Chris Saucedo, Halls Operations Director. All docks have been moved to Halls, but they are not yet set in their final configuration. Nevertheless, owners are allowed to access and stay on their houseboats. NOTE, however, the new parking area and walkway that will service the relocated Bullfrog docks will not be completed for another 3-4 weeks. So, if you drive to Halls you need to park in the existing Halls parking lot and take all your stuff down to the Halls Marina dock where you will then have to shuttle it your houseboat. If you are launching at Bullfrog, I still suggest you use the old Bullfrog houseboat rental area and service dock to shuttle your stuff to your houseboat. You can drive to within 50' of the service dock to load and unload your boat, and the parking is good for both vehicles and boat trailers.

Wouldn’t it make sense to bring the houseboat from Halls over to Bullfrog rental service dock and load once instead of loading small boats running to Halls and unloading boats again? Is there sufficient service dock area to tie off a houseboat for an hour or so?

When I was at the lake a couple of weeks ago I did see a smaller houseboat tie up to the dock at the Bullfrog North launch ramp, but my assessment was that interfered significantly with the limited area to launch boats.
I was there two days ago and there was a small HB tied up to the dock at 6:15 .. look like it spent the night there. Without a doubt it blocked the access to launch

He was out of there by 7:00

More info from Chris Saucedo: If you are using your own boat: Monday through Friday - contact Captain Titus on radio channel 10 to confirm access to your houseboat, as dive operations will be ongoing at Halls; Saturday and Sunday you do not need to contact Captain Titus. If you are bringing stuff down to the Halls Marina dock and your boat is not readily available, go to the Halls Marina office to seed if a shuttle service is available to your houseboat. Halls Marina may also have a porter available to help bring your stuff from the parking area to the Halls Marina dock. If you are at the old Bullfrog rental service dock, there is a call box on the working boat dock, which is coming off of the old boat rentals gangway. You can use the call box to contact Bullfrog Services on 10 to see if they can provide a water taxi for people and gear.
