Bullfrog main boat ramp

Hi guys,

I am heading down to bullfrog marina tomorrow for the first time with my kids and I was wondering if the main boat ramp is opened to launch a boat.
Also, I will be targeting striped bass, any recent reports on where to fish for them?

Any tips on where to find striped bass will be much appreciated.

Yes you can launch.

Striper Hot spots: Moki Wall, Mouth of Moki and main channel (right on the corner), Cove just past mouth of Moki, Continue searching that wall all the way up until the next corner from buoy 99 to 102.

Downstream, try the mouth of Halls Creek, and mouth of Lake Canyon*.

Use anchovy bait or catch a striper, fillet it, cut meat into 1 inch chunks for bait.

Have fun. The rain should be done and weather warming when you arrive.

Steve, just vision a 1/4 mile drag strip and you will have one, with water at the end. Sq

Thanks Wayne for the tips on where to find the stripped bass.
We left the BF marina on Friday at 9 am and headed to Moki Canyon. We found a big school of stripped bass along the walls of the mouth of Moki Canyon.
Fished for about 4 hours and caught over 200 stripped bass. We were using anchovies about 20 - 35 feet. The water was pretty murky but the fishing was hot. The fish ranged from 1.5 to 3 ponds.
