OK, I need to learn from the king. I was on the lake from 11/3 to 11/5 and didn't catch many fish. On Friday we went to Forgotten canyon and didn't mark many fish. We did hook into a big one that broke the line. Caught a few but not many and didn't mark much. Saturday we went down lake and marked a lot from 80' to 90' outside of Slick Rock canyon in the main channel. We weren't able to catch many jigging so we trolled. Caught a few, mainly on assassins' but not much for lake powell standards.
Did you fish in shallow water or deep?
Jigging?
Casting to shore?
What was the secret?

I’d love to know how big that one was that broke your line.

Well done again Kevin! So you’re saying those assassins are a pretty good lure!?

You’ve certainly figured out a phenomenal way to catch fish. As we can see, lots are trying to imitate it and no one can quite catch ‘em like you can. Lots of years of trying, knowing when to twitch it, when to stop it, when to speed reel it, troll it etc! Shows how much of an art fishing can be!
