Has anyone had any luck in the north end this last weekend? Heading down in the morning to Stanton.

We conducted an angler survey at Bullfrog yesterday and found that smallmouth bass fishing was good-excellent both at Bullfrog and up and downstream from there. Striped bass were a bit tougher to locate. Best reports came from Good Hope Bay area and near the mudline (near the Horn). I predict that fishing will improve lakewide as the weather changes and barometric pressure rises.

Last Year, September 19th, the North side of Stanton, there were striper/smallmouth boils for 5 days, all day. Never had to leave camp to catch them. This September 19th, Stanton was silent. You can never predict the fish. That was the most fun fishin’ I’ve had at POWELL in 30+ years. Sq
