Bullfrog Area 10/23 to 10/26

Made a fall trip to Bullfrog last weekend and much to my surprise, things are changing fast. The lake has risen so much that the new dirt boat ramp at the end of the main ramp is getting abandoned. The road to the ramp was almost under water when we left Monday. Back to the north ramp. We used the north ramp and everything was good. North Lake Powell Marine (Offshore marine) was pulling houseboats out as fast as they could. I was surprised to see the water high enough to launch or retrieve houseboats. There is a lot of debris and alligators floating everywhere, especially in the back of Bullfrog bay.
Fishing was slow. With the full moon and the storm, the fish were not biting much. We did manage to catch some very good (3lb) small mouth and 1 good large mouth but overall it was slow. In Good Hope bay the water visibility is less than 1ft right now. We did graph a school of stripers in about 30' along the east shore but only managed to talk a few into biting, No bass or walleye in GHB. The best fishing we found was along the main channel in clearer water. Fishing rock slides areas surrounded by slick rock was the most productive. Everything we caught was very healthy.
We mainly found fish in 30' of water. Nothing seemed to be close to be close to the shore.
